I like group activities as recreational activities that will help me better understand English.
ResponderEliminarwith respect to the video I learned about the cognates in which there are 3 types of cognates.
the first: they are the exact cognate and means that some pabras with respect to the Spanish mean exactly the same thing as for example Actor in English means the same in Spanish.
The second: they are the direct cognates and means they change for example educacion in Spanish by education in english, curiosidad in Spanish by curiosity in english when they are substantive change familia in Spanish by Family in english when they are adjectives change curioso in Spanish by curious in english when they are adjectives or adverbs are changing rapidamente in Spanish by rapidly in English and all these mean the same thing but are written differently at the end of each word.
Third: they are the indirect cognates and means that some words in Spanish are similar but do not mean exactly the same thing for example alto in Spanish is not altitude in English but they resemble. and finally they are false cognates and means that some words look the same but mean something different for example lecture in English does not mean lectura in Spanish but Conferencia and the correct way to know who is lectura in English is reading
blessings for you! ❤

ResponderEliminargoodnight my name is ANA SUAREZ 15231866 with respect to the video I Concluded
ResponderEliminarThat words are cognates have a common etymological origin.
For example, the words shirt and skirt Inglés are doublets;
Cognates do not need to have the same meaning, Which May Have Changed as the languages developed separately.
exact cognates some words in Spanish Means the same as in the meaning and pronunciation Inglés is the same
cognantes direct is the change of some words example: hotel, hospital, general, Angel.
indirect cognates is the relation in the words and pronunciation with a different meaning.
hi teacher i am Yenifer Landazabal Amaya ID. 16.124.824. i whatched the video about cognates, in this video we teach cognates are words in English and Spanish are spelled the same or similar, we have the exact cognates, one example is written exactly the same and mean the same hotel, taxi, doctor. There are words that are written like only change some letters are called direct cognates such education, section. indirect cognates are those words that are spelled alike but its meaning is not really the same. and false cognates are words that are spelled the same but have different meanings eg: library that does not mean libreria
ResponderEliminarGood Afternoon Professor… From what I could interpret in the video the cognates are words that have a common origin and therefore have the same meaning in both English and Spanish, with this we can conclude that although we are different we are equal. Achieve investigate that the word "cognate" means blood, that is to say that there are features of kinship from one language to another, or the influence of the same, also in the video makes the observation that there are different types of cognates, one of them are false, which seem to mean the same in English and in Spanish, but in reality have completely different meanings; The cognates we can serve as a support for a better learning of the English language, however it is essential to have wisdom and knowing how to use for our prayers are not misinterpreted… Thank you for the video professor…

The cognates we can serve as a support for a better learning of the English language, however it is essential to have much careful at the time of using them in our prayers are not misinterpreted Name: Youceliane Orozco Identity Card:11373818

COGNATES: TYPES:
EXACT COGNATES: They are words that are pronounced and written the same way in both languages (Spanish and English). Example: idea, piano, hospital, color, animal, hotel ...
DIRECT COGNATES:
First group: Example: Spanish ( cion ) English (tion)
Changes its termination Educación Education

Sixth group: Example: Spanish English ("s" followed by a consonant)
Estudio Studio
COGNATES INDIRECT have a similar meaning.
Example: Spanish English
Aprender Apprentice
COGNATES FALSE:
With such cognates beware
Are those that seem to mean the same in English and Spanish but actually have completely different meanings.
Example: Spanish English
Arma Gun
Brazo Arm
Through this video I realized that there are some words in Spanish and English are equal: Actor, doctor (EXACT COGNATES). Others change a part of its structure when going from Spanish to English or vice versa, for example, education, society, family, sincerely, study ... (DIRECT COGNATES). INDIRECT COGNATES have a similar meaning. (altitud-altitude) Just as there are false cognates: are words that seem to have some kind of relation ship or pronunciation, but they are totally different in origin and meaning. Example: arm (brazo) gun is arma .

Good afternoon! I just saw the video and according to it, I was able to see that there are 3 types of cognates which are: exact cognates, direct cognates and indirect cognates.
ResponderEliminarExact cognates: have the same spelling in English and Spanish but they have different pronunciation for example, these words: actor, doctor, piano and idea they have the same spelling in English and Spanish but they have different pronunciation that`s why they are exact cognates.
Direct cognates: looks similar enough that you can tell the difference. There are some endings in Spanish that are always feminine like: Educacion, La Educacion. There are some nouns, adjectives and adverbs that are also cognates as well as those consonants that starts with S like: Studio and in Spanish is: Estudio.
Indirect cognates: these words have similar rules, for example we have the Spanish word Alto and the English word altitude, they are indirect cognates not because they mean the same thing but because they both came from the same rule and the have a similar meaning
Good evening my name Lucy Andrade Professor of English III student with IC: 17497550, regarding the video you publish reads: talks about the three types cognates and false are accurate, direct, indirect.
ResponderEliminarCognates are words in both languages that have a similar spelling and meaning the same or very similar. In an academic paper there is no need to explain more .g .: Difficult = difficult.
COGNATES FALSE: is a word that, due to fortuitous similarities in appearance and meaning, appears to kinship with another word in a different language, but they do not really share the same etymological origin (not true cognates). The typical example is the English verb to have (have, be) and like Spanish verb be, which, despite its similarities aparentementeobvias, enrealidad.
COGNATES INDIRECT have a similar meaning (altitude above sea level) and there are false cognates. They are words that seem to have some kind of relation ship or pronunciation, but are totally different in origin and meaning. Example: happy - happy.
COGNATES EXACT: These are words that are pronounced and spelled the same way in both languages (Spanish and English). EG: animal, piano education.
COGNANTES DIRECT is the change of a few words such as: Ideology - Ideology and this is generally used as other adjectives can be female.
Professor goodnight my name is my identity card Yursey Jaimes is 19,360,232. had not sent the video response because the internet was dropped apologies ......
ResponderEliminarIn relation to the cognates can say that those are all terms that although written so common and in different languages mean the same one example of this doctor eventhough it sound different means to the same linguistic level.
These are classified coganado exact cognates are words that are spelled the same but have different pronunciation example of them is usually hospital, natural, industrial, yard, panorama, doctor, central circular among others.
On the other side are the Direct Cognates are those who often change them some of his words example is educaion, nation, including production and can be used with adjevos always feminine.
And Indirect cognates is the relationship of words and pronunciation but the meaning is different example is the audio learning.
It was what I could interpret regarding the video thank you very much and happy night.
good night profesor the content s of the video es about cognates (los cognados )
ResponderEliminarthe exact cognates are the same spelling. they are same spelling in english and spanish for example: actor, doctor and color and others.
the direct cognates: whats different in spanish (cion ), english (teen).
always feminine in spanish example : ambicion (la), seccion (la), combinacion (la).

estudio en spanish and studio espiritu. they chanye the S to ES termination
y los falsos cognates
ResponderEliminarGood afternoon my name is mirle prodesor marquez ci 17,368,204 of pre school English III with respect to video.
ResponderEliminarEnglish cognates are words that have similarity in their writing and their significance with respect to other words in another language, in this case Spanish. That is called cognate words in English and Spanish have a similar writing and its meaning is idéndico.
The existence of these cognates facilitates the learning of English as the spelling and pronunciation of these words are unfamiliar to us speaking.
There are three types of cognates
Cognates accurate: they are spelled the same in English and Spanish, but have different pronuncionacion.
Note: are spelled the same but are pronounced the same
Direct cognates: similarly written in Spanish, as in English, but not identical when translated.
When words Termian in "tion" in Spanish have a cognate in English that end in "tion" suffix "tion" is always feminine in Spanish "la"
Spanish "cion" female
Note: words beginning with "s" in English only "S" spirit, Split ponuncia
Indirect cognates: these words have similar rules,
High -altitude: are indirect congnados not that mean the same thing, but coming from the same rutay why have a similar meaning.
Learn-apprentice: both come from the same route with the idea of "Do learn" the meaning
There are also false cognates and we must remember to avoid mistakes.
false cognates
Soap: soap can be confused with soup,
Embarrassed: embarrassed pregnant can be confused with
They look the same but mean and are.
It is determined as the words that resemble, in the way of writing, but its meaning is the same, its importance is that it is easier to learn the language. The video also mentions that there different forms of cognates, accurate, direct and false, which is not more than, those words that are written in Spanish in the same way but in the English signifa diferent, for example, driver in English does not mean that is the man who drives a vehicle, but refers to a director who directs an orchestra, in this respect lies the difference.
ResponderEliminarGood afternoon my name is YOLIBETH CONTRERAS ci 15.989599, of pre school English III with respect to video.
ResponderEliminarCognates (or exact cognates) – having the same origin; of the same or similar nature, these cognates do not always translate from one language to another precisely
ResponderEliminarThe cognates fall into suffix categories which, have been grouped under the following terms:
1. Nouns
2. Adjectives
3. Verbs
4. Adverbs
Example: Spanish and Portuguese are cognate languages
Spanish – doctor
English - doctor
Direct Cognates – words that look similar but are not the same
Example: Spanish – actividad
English - activity
Indirect Cognates (false cognates) - Spanish words that sound like English words that do not have the same meaning these are called false cognates, or false friends.
Example: Spanish False - Aplicar
Enligsh Definition - to apply a theory or paint
Spanish Alternative – solicitar = to apply for a job
Professor good morning my name is Yolimar Rivas s understood my explanation of what the video was.
ResponderEliminarthe exact cognates are the same spelling.
they are same spelling in english and spanish for example: actor, doctor and color and others.
the direct cognates: whats different in spanish (cion ), english (teen).
always feminine in spanishejpm: ambicion (la), seccion (la), combinacion (la).
they change for example en spanish: educacion en inglish: education.
athens changes of the direct cognates: in spanish (dad) curiosidad. ininglish (ty) curiosity always feminine
they mean in spanish and english different but they are semilar example:
alto (spanish) tall (english).
the false cognates: they look the same but they mean defferent example la sopa soap.
good afternoon my name is Professor teimara camejo ci: 13640146
ResponderEliminarintegral part of this this course I am. and I belong to the school of industrial relations.
A false cognate is a word that, due to fortuitous similarities in appearance and meaning, appears to kinship with another word in a different language, but they do not really share the same etymological origin (not true cognates). The typical example is the English verb to have (have, be) and like Spanish verb be, which, despite its seemingly obvious similarities, actually come from very different proto-Indo-European roots: English To have come from * kap- (grasping), and in fact it is related to our verb grasp, though not enough; while our belt comes from Proto-Indo-European root * ghabh- (giving), and although neither seems, is related to the English to give (to give).
ResponderEliminarCognates are words in both languages are similar in spelling and meaning the same or very similar. In an academic paper there is no need to explain más.Ej .: Difficult = difficult
However, false cognates, and (job) application MAL translated as "job application" would be a false cognate, since the word "application" in Spanish means a cloth patch applied to another fabric like saying a flower red fabric is "applied" on a shirt .... or also "application" may be in a student puts effort in his studies ... but NEVER an employment application. Other legitimate cognates: Doctor = DoctorPiano = PianoWagon = VagónStove EstufaSilence = Silence =
Actual COGNADOSActual = FALSE because in English can mean "real" and in Spanish means "current = today" as in "current prices" = the current prices. I hope I have helped a little.
Good Morning Teacher ,My name is Priscilla Yanez ,C.I 17.987.140 about the activity:
ResponderEliminarThe Exact Cognates are those who have the same meaning in relation to Spanish and English but his pronunciation is different . Direct Cognates also have the same meaning, the difference is in your writing because you must meet certain rules , which changes occur in what refers to the word. Example: Estudiar - Study
Indirect Cognates, they have no exact meaning but this is similar because a relationship between word leads to get an idea of what it is given. Finally False Cognates, they seem to mean the same because of the similarity to write, but turns out to be different words. Example: Jabón (soap)- Soup , is given a different significance initially.
Thanks.
Morning, class!! I hope you've had a great weekend; well, as third activity you are going to tell me what do you think about both Compound Nouns and Compound Adjectives... Blessings!!
ResponderEliminarA compound noun is a noun that is made with two or more words. A compound noun is usually noun + noun or[adjective + noun, but there are other combinations . It is important to understand and recognize compound nouns. Each compound noun acts as a single unit and can be modified by adjectives and other nouns. martha sonard ID 17863524

ResponderEliminarGood morning Professor Freddy. My name is FRANCI Ronmar CONTRERAS DE SANCHEZ. My writ of idntidad 13,365,865. I would like that assigned activities are simply and akin of concrete to meet them and be learning the same way. Why us can investigate and present each topic with examples directly.
ResponderEliminarGood day. Professor Feddy. Complying with the assigned activity; The video presents a comprehensive and precise explanation of "cognates" which are words that are spelled or pronounced in a manner equal or similar in English and Spanish. Example: actor, hotel, doctor among others.
ResponderEliminarIt also explains that there are false cognates, which are those that seem to mean the same in English and Castilian but actually have completely different meanings.
There are 3 types: exact cognates, cognates direct and indirect cognates.
The exact cognates: have same spelling but different pronunciation. Example Doctor, Actor, Hotel, Hospital.
The direct cognates: what is the difference in Spanish words ending in "tion" are always female. Example (a) ambition, (la) Section, (the) Education, (the) direction (the) Nation among others.
It also happens with the ending in "tion" are always female.
Group three indicates that words ending in "ia, io. ed "these are usually nouns. Example family, democracy, history, the canary, the bedroom, among others.
The endings in Spanish "bear" these are usually adjectives. Example mysterious, angry, harsh, funny, famous, among others.
The endings in Spanish "mind" usually adjectives. Example quickly, correctly, honestly, exactly, among others.
Another group begins in Spanish "is" in English and starts with "s" example: student, study, special, space, spirit, among others.
Indirect cognates: what are the similarities; so for example:
1. Word in Spanish = High
Word Inglés = Altitude
Meaning in = high / high English
2. Word Learning Spanish =
Word Inglés = Apprendice
Meaning in English = Learning
Very good morning teacher, my name is Yolibeth Contreras, V 15,989,599, estudainte industrial relations, perform an analysis of your proposed topic. about adjectives and compound nouns.
ResponderEliminarThe compound adjectives are Formed by combine combining the adjective With Other parts of speech, are built with two different words, it is Important to note That carry no plural adjectives Also can mean That word adjectives are responsible for changing the direction the objective and / or Circumstances of the noun. When speaking of compound nouns, we refer to the compound nouns in different ways. Sometimes they 'have no script and in English: sometimes we can find two kinds of compound nouns: a) verb + noun, eg. stain remover, forest rangers noun + noun, eg b). chief engineer. In Inglés we find more combinations of the second type, on the other hand have a much Greater Importance than in Spanish. The basic word is the second. The first has value and is invariable adjective. The combination of two words can be written together by a hyphen, one word together or separately:
Inglés The language is very easy to form words with meaning from Their Own Words That each separately have independent meaning. Among all the compositional patterns linking the adjectives and nouns Studied here is the Most Productive. A large number of These compounds are adjectives That names are predicated of person or pet (crestfallen, narilargo, walleye, pernilargo). Adjectives of These compounds have the same grammatical attributes of nominal group is Preached That the compound, not the substantive content therein. Such compounds are endocentric Often Considered, right core. However, some authors Consider In His review exocentric Because the only adjective Indirectly Denotes a quality of the person or the animal That is in Original Designated Attributed to property (A redheaded person is not a network person, but a person with red) hair.

Eliminargood morning profe.mi name is soskary useche ci: 20425305. my opinion regarding the video can acotar.que cognates are words that have the same meaning or similar origins in Spanish and often Inglesh escharse with a small difference to the rule but have the same purpose to which is to be referred. example: silence- silencio
ResponderEliminarHello good day my name is Professor soskary useche my CI: 20425305.
ResponderEliminarbelieve that. The compound nouns are those which are formed by the union of two different words, which create a new one that has a specific meaning. example antejos, rainbow. among others. a dferencia of. compound adjectives arise from the composition of two complete words, in the same way you would create a compound noun. However, in the case of adjectives, at least one of those two words are to be joined must be starting an adjective, because otherwise there could be composition, but hardly we could think of a process of adjectives.
Thus, the first two words could be a noun and an adjective, as in the case of red hair (noun adjective and red hair) ... happy teacher day. I hope your comment about my work.

The English language is remarkably versatile, for it allows us to make up words and expressions that don’t otherwise appear in the dictionary. One type of expression we frequently invent is the compound adjective (also called the phrasal adjective).
A COMPOUND NOUN is a noun that is made with two or more words. A compound noun is usually [noun + noun] or [adjective + noun], but there are other combinations (see below). It is important to understand and recognize compound nouns. Each compound noun acts as a single unit and can be modified by adjectives and other nouns.
There are three forms for compound nouns:
• Open or spaced - space between words (tennis shoe).
• Hyphenated - hyphen between words (six-pack).
• Closed or solid - no space or hyphen between words (bedroom).

Good afternoon my name is Lucy Professor Andrade CI: 17497550. can be defined as compound adjectives all those adjectives that are formed or constructed by two different words. As the logic established, compound adjectives are part of compound words but separated in a group; the group of adjectives. As we know, the adjectives are responsible for changing the meaning, purpose or circumstances of the noun. Example: - A person who works hard> A working person. And compound nouns are those which are formed by the union of two different words, which create a new one that has a specific meaning. They are also known as substantive biformes, although this name is virtually obsolete. They are very easy to identify because, as the name says they are words that made that provide new ways. Example: Letter opener, can opener, can opener, Brandy.

good morning, Adjectives, as all words can be simple or compound. Simple adjectives are those for which training has been used which may result, which was not added or changed anything later. In this category enter adjectives like thin, white, black, stiff, tall, dark, pale, and so on.
ResponderEliminarHowever, there are adjectives that have become what they are by the addition of different particles which normally are prefixes and suffixes or entire words concatenation.
Of course, there is also the formation of adjectives through both preset and suffixes, while as in antifreeze or slip.
Another fairly common, but special example of creating compound adjectives by suffixation is appreciative for suffixes that create different endings with which to express increase or decrease, or convey sympathy or a derogatory message.
Other times, these are the least common, compound adjectives arise from the composition of two complete words, in the same way you would create a compound noun. However, in the case of adjectives, at least one of those two words are to be joined must be starting an adjective, because otherwise there could be composition, but hardly we could think of a process of adjectives

Good evening Professor'm Emilse Torres, student UNIOJEDA, Race Initial, shift on Saturdays, my opinion based on the video assigned to analyze is the following in relation to the Cognates and False Cognates, as reflected, is the following: I Cognates are words that have a common origin and therefore have the same meaning in both English and Castilian are words that share meaning, spelling and pronunciation similar in two languages. The validity of these cognates facilitates the learning of English as the spelling and pronunciation of these words are unfamiliar to us in Spanish American lexicon. Furthermore, the same video explains it existence of false cognates is a word that, due to fortuitous similarities in appearance and meaning, appears to kinship with another word in a different language, but actually does not share the same meaning. The video also teaches through examples several words that are easily recognizable cognates and false cognates.

On the use of frequency adverbs I can tell you that are those that are used to define the frequency with which an activity is performed, such as: always, often, often, often, sometimes, occasionally when, never and is generally used in present simple.
• The frequency adverb is placed after the subject and before the verb, except when the main verb is a modal verb or the verb to be.
• In sentences where the main verb is one or a modal verb, the frequency adverb is placed behind them.
• Frequency Adverbs sometimes, usually, occasionally, in addition to following the above rules, can go to the beginning of the sentence.

Activity:
The noun has a definition which is given as: Is the significance of everything, it is also a grammatical category used to designate all kinds of subject or object. You can tell that a compound noun is formed by the relationship of several words, a basic example is the word "Breakfast" in which the relationship of two words is given, thus causing a single meaning. Nouns have the plural form, and usually you add 's'
Examples:
-Redskin
-Frontdoor
-Man-servant
A compound adjective has the purpose to give a different meaning to the word, unlike nouns , the adjective should not have plurar. The adjective comes from the relationship between two different words
Examples:
-Stuck-up
-Blue-eyed
COMPOUND NOUNS AND ADJECTIVES
ResponderEliminarEnglish is quite usual employment of compound words from two words that have themselves differently from the new compound word meaning. Example: Breakfast.
In English the adjective can not serve as substantive. Therefore, we can not find Spanish adjectives like "substantivized" (a young, old, poor ....). Therefore, it is necessary to use the adjective with the noun jointly specified.
EXCEPTION: When the adjective acts as the generic plural. In this case, it is preceded by the article 'The'. Example The poor Italians
Adjectives. There are several ways to form compound adjectives in English:
a) Noun + adjective: Bloodthirsty, Azure
b) Adjective + adjective: Dark blue
c) Adjective (or adverb) + present participle: Good looking
e) Noun + present participle: Worker, corer
f) Noun + passive participle. well dressed.
g) Adjective + Noun + ed. manners De, De blond hair
Compounds adjectives are the result of lexical creation mechanism. Components of this type are typically adjectives, generally a present participle or past preceded by a noun, adjective or other adverb.
Other types of compound adjectives, eg, those containing a past participle and adjectives that do not contain a participle. The compound adjectives carry a script.
The compound nouns are those formed by more than one word.
Dining room, bathroom, breakfast.
The compounds generally form the plural nouns adding a "-s". Examples: Bedroom, Bedroom / Washing machine, washing machines
The compound nouns can be linked by a hyphen, or distinct. No fixed except those derived from a form-ing which will, as a rule, rule hyphenated. Examples: high, red skin door.
However, when the compounds are formed by nouns in the second element serves only supplement is the first that takes the plural form. Example: sister in law, sisters / runner, runners.
In compounds with nouns man and woman, both nouns take the plural: servant, servants.

note that combing an verb and adjective does not create a compound adjective .
no hyphen is require because it is already clear that the adverb modifies the adjective rather that the subsequent.

It is important to understand and recognize compound nouns. Each compound noun acts as a single unit and can be modified by adjectives and other nouns.
There are three forms for compound nouns:
1. open or spaced - space between words (tennis shoes)
2. closed or solid - no space or hyphen between words (bedroom)
Pronunciation
Compound nouns tend to have more stress on the first word. In the phrase "pink ball", both words are equally stressed (as you know, adjectives and nouns are always stressed). In the compound noun "golf ball", the first word is stressed more (even though both words are nouns, and nouns are always stressed).
What type / what purpose
What or who
Police man
Boy friend
Water tank
Dining table
Bed room
What is an adjective?
An adjective is a word that describes something.
A red car (red is an adjective because it describes the car. How is the car? Red)
A big book (big is an adjective because it describes the book. How is the book? Big)
A compound adjective is an adjective that contains two or more words.
In general we put a hyphen between two or more words (before a noun) when we want them to act as a single idea (adjective) that describes something.
• I live in an English-speaking country.
English-speaking is an adjective (used to describe the country). We use a hyphen to connect the word English with speaking to show that it is one adjective (or one idea).
This adjective with two words joined by the hyphen is called a compound adjective.
Some more examples of compound adjectives are:
• Our office is in a twenty-stored building.
• I have just finished reading a 300-page book.
• He is a well-known writer.

With relation to compound nouns can say that they are formed by more than one word, besides English is quite usual in the use of compound words; however they can be joined by a hyphen, or distinct. example:
* Dining - room: dining
* Bathroom: bathroom
While compound adjectives, these are formed by combining the adjective with other parts of speech and vice versa, usually 2 or more words forming the adjective. Importantly adjectives can have no plural word. eg

An adjective only consists of two or more words is called an adjective compound. The words in a compound adjective can be joined together by a hyphen (or hyphens) to show they are part of the same adjective.
There are several ways to form compound adjectives in English:

Adjective (or adverb) + present participle: handsome.
Noun + present participle: WORKING.
Noun + past participle: well dressed.
Adjective + Noun + ed: good manners.
Happy late.

The compound nouns are those which are formed by the union of two different words, which create a new one that has a specific meaning. They are also known as substantive biformes, although this name is virtually obsolete. They are very easy to identify because, as the name says they are words that made that provide new ways.
Opener. Noon. Umbrella. Windshield. Corkscrew. Loincloth. Carrier Penknife. Albiceleste.
Unlike the simple (the class of adjectives that do not require the addition of particles or modifications as may be seen in words like "fat", "skinny", "blond" and "black" among others), the compounds are formed from the addition of prefixes or suffixes or entire words chaining.
Within the group of compound adjectives raised by prefixing we can find examples such as "apolitical," "bisexual," "subnormal" and "multinational", while the process of suffixation results adjectives like "semi", "crisp" and "tranquilizer".
Similarly, adjectives like "slip" or "antifreeze" expose the existence of words created from the combination of the mechanism of prefixing to suffixing.
Moreover, it is noteworthy that the adjectives discussed in this opportunity also derived from the combination of two words, as happens to merge, for example, the noun "hair" with "red" adjective ("redhead").
"Bittersweet" ("sour" + "sweet"), "black and white" ("black" "white" +) "sacrosanct" ("sacred" + "holy") and "blanquiceleste" ("white" + "celeste" ) are other terms that belong to the group of compound adjectives.
Examples of use of compound adjectives:
"I think your brother is bisexual"
"This multinational company is on track to success"
"Cecilia is no solution for brittle hair"
"To avoid accidents, you must purchase a non-slip mat"
"I'm in love with a redheaded boy"
"I love the sweet and sour food"
"Our team will hit the courts with blanquiceleste shirt"
Therefore Compounds adjectives are formed by the combination of the adjective with other parts of speech, are built with two different words, it is important to note that lead plural adjectives can also mean that the adjectives words are responsible for changing the direction target and / or circumstances of the noun because English is easy to learn for us, and Spanish for them not because of a single word out thousands for example, pig out pork, pig, however with English can be use a word to the meaning of many ....
Thank you and good day ............ ..

Good Evening teacher, the university UNIOJEDA, is giving me the opportunity to complete my university career, something that had always dreamed about and who had been unable to carry out due to the fact that in the Táchira state there was no university or public or private, in which he might finish it due to the fact that no offered me the chance to study the weekends to be able to work during the week, I also think the education is good and that teachers are highly qualified. However, this university has some weaknesses that day to day, has been overcome, I am proud to be part of the first promotion product of this convention UNIOJEDA-IUJEL, and I graduated as a bachelor's degree in the career management of industrial relations for mention of is how to apply the knowledge acquired in the field of labor and thanks to this convention i feel motivated to continue my studies and expand my professional horizons.

ResponderEliminarCognades: In my opinion, the cognates are those words that have similar or the same spell and pronuntiation in english and spanish as well, but the main characteristic is that keeping the same meaning. Those words are very easy to be remembered by us for this particular characteristic. for example:
Actor - Actor: In this case, they have the same spelling, pronuntiation, and meaning.
Collection - Coleccion: Particularly, have almost the same spelling with few differences, the same pronuntiation and keeps the same meaning.
Hospital - Hospital: It has the same spelling, close pronuntiation, keeping the same meaning in english and spanish as well.
False Cognates: In difference to the Cognates, The false cognates are those words that might have the same spell and pronuntiation, but in english and spanish as well, have different meanings. Normally we have the tend to get confuse by these words. For example:
Arm (Brazo) - Arma (Gun): We can see that they have similar spell and pronuntiation, but the meaning are completely different.
Embarrassed (Avergonzado) - Embarazada (Pregnant).
Compound Nouns: Is a noun that is made up by the combination of two or more words. They are ussually used like modifiers of another nouns. For example:
ResponderEliminarThe words "tooth" and "paste" are each nouns in their own right, but if you join them together they form a new word: "toothpaste".
In this example we can see taht the first word modifies or describes the second word, telling us what kind of object or person it is, or what its purpose is. And the second part identifies the object or person in question.
Compound nouns can also be formed using the following combinations of words:
Noun + Noun: Toothpaste
Adjective + Noun: Monthly ticket
Verb + Noun: Swimming pool
Preposition + Noun: Underground
Noun + Verb: Haircut
Noun + Preposition: Hanger on
Adjective + Verb: Dry-cleaning
Preposition + Verb: Output
1. Sometimes the two words are joined together.
Example: tooth + paste = toothpaste | bed + room = bedroom
2. Sometimes they are joined using a hyphen.
Example: Check-in
3. Sometimes they appear as two separate words.
Example: Full moon
Compound Adjective: A compound adjective is an adjective that contains two or more words. Generally we put a hyphen between two or more words (before a noun) when we want them to act as a single idea (adjective) that describes something. For example:
I live in an English-speaking country.
In this case "english-speaking" is an adjective (used to describe the country). We use a hyphen to connect the word "english" with "speaking" to show that it is one adjective (or one idea).
This adjective with two words joined by the hyphen is called a compound adjective.
Another examples:
Our office is in a "twenty-storey" building.
I have just finished reading a "300-page" book.
He is a "well-known" writer.
I study management and marketing management mention Marketing Managers must develop strategies that support the orientation we want to give a product or service with the objectives of profitability and efficient allocation of resources. In this process we must carefully assess the impact it may have on our business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and competitive advantages. The Company seeks competitive advantages through these well integrated marketing programs to coordinate the price, product, distribution and communication of our supply of goods or services to meet the needs of a target market.
ResponderEliminarDecisions should take a marketing manager are complex due to at least four reasons:
There are a number of factors influencing the market
When You are repositioning or launching a product or service, you will find a large number of factors, some beyond the control of you who will determine the success or failure of the marketing effort. Sales and profitability may be affected by competition reactions by changes in international or national economic conditions or consumer perception.
Marketing plans are impacted by external factors that are uncontrollable
Our plans may be adversely affected by changes in consumer preferences or increased competition. Our forecasts of sales and earnings can be affected by adverse conditions in the economies of the world, region or country.
The marketing plans are unstable due to the factors affecting the market
The factors that are beyond our control sometimes change quickly. Technological changes are an example of this, and to the extent that happen can seriously affect sales and profits.
The allocation of marketing resources is nonlinear
It is very common to see the results do not match allocated resources. No wonder, for example, to double investment in advertising and the increase in sales is rather modest.
Furthermore, a higher degree of complexity of marketing decisions no unwrapped greater financial risks that may involve large investments of money. In addition, marketing decisions also have an impact on other units of the Company as Production, Finance and Human Resources

however false cognates are those that are spelled the same but have distintosignificado. eg advice (council) and notice.
Well that was what I could understand the video I hope......
Good morining teacher!
ResponderEliminarRegarding the video, I personally think is spotless and very easy to learn with. The content is based on cognates. Technically called cognates or doublets to those terms with the same etymological origin, but with different phonetic evolution. Exact cognates, which are written using the same letters in the same order in both English and Spanish, but it varies for each language. The direct cognates are words that begin to be written in both languages equal but have the Spanish way ending in "ción" while in English ending in "tion". For example: in spanish Composición is composition in english. The same applies to words ending in "dad" in English ending in "ty". For example: Serenidad in spanish and Serenity is written in English. On the other hand the words that end in "ío", "io", "ia" in English end in "Y". For example in English is written dormitory and spanish is dormitorio. Words ending in "oso" in English are written with "ous". For example: Curioso in English will be curious. Words ending in "mente" is written with "ly" in English. For example: in English will be perfectly and spañish perfectamente. Words beginning is + consonant. In English they are pronounced without the "E". for example, especialmente in English the first vowel "E" is deleted and written special. Finally we are taught that indirect cognates are words that are written in both languages different but the meaning is the same. For example in English is written airplane but in spanish is avión. also give us an observation beware of false cognates, words that are similar in both languages but that does not mean the same in every language, for example sopa and soap. They are not the same. Sopa is a food, while soap is jabón.

ResponderEliminarDo you know how important is family for a child?
According to UNICEF, 40 million children live on streets of Latin America, and 60% of them come from dysfunctional families… And the family is responsible for this. For this reason, parents must try staying together during growth of children, and if possible, during their all lives.
For this reason (and more), a love atmosphere is essential for a good childhood. Children need to know and feel that their parents love them in order to make them safe and responsible people in the future.
At the same time, there must be an atmosphere of respect where child can be seen as a real human being. Sometimes, adults don’t respect children because they think they are just like “little people”, without rights, needs, feelings or dreams… But this is not true, children are people like you and me and they feel and dream as we do!
On the other hand, dysfunctional families have been increasing during those last years, and children are the most affected by this break. Several times, this break has terrible psychological consequences in children. The child loves his parents, but if one of them aways from his daily life, he will feel a great emotional, physical and psychological emptiness that could affect his adolescence or even his adultness.
According to Charles L. Whitfield, M.D. in his book, Healing the Child Within (1997), “the inner child is the true self. People coming from dysfunctional families learn to suppress this fun-loving, actual character in response to many inhibiting factors that may impede the survival of the individual, such as, child neglect and abuse (…)”.
All these abuse in children produce a lot of traumas that trigger deep bounds in his heart and soul. One of those traumas is the low self-esteem, which creates an insecure child, a rebellious teenager and an unhappy adult, this entire if he does not seek a quick and adequate professional help.
The most awful situation is that this child could become in a potential dysfunctional family builder by the scenes he saw in his childhood.
In summary, family is very important for the growth of the child to be a good person, formed in values and moral principles, able of supporting a family in an excellent atmosphere of love, peace and harmony…

Hello teacher my name is Andanyela villamaryn, sorry he had not commanded him to work, with regard to activity, compounds adjectives are formed by the combination of combining the adjective with other parts of speech, are built with two different words, it is important consider not carrying plural adjectives can also mean that adjectives words are responsible for changing the direction of the target and / or circumstances of the noun. Likewise it would create a compound noun. However, in the case of adjectives, at least one of those two words are to be joined should be starting an adjective, because otherwise it could have ended, but we could hardly think of a process of adjectives.

ResponderEliminarAfter reading the text we can say that the family is the key organ of society, where children should grow up in an atmosphere full of love and where he formed with values and moral principles in the future are good people, this covered that parents should stay together in a friendly atmosphere of respect for t growing children, even for a lifetime.
The fact that this does not happen results in that children grow up in a hostile environment and that is why Unicef as their surveys say 40 million children live on the streets of Latin America and 60% come from dysfunctional families.
All these abuses children produce a lot of traumas that trigger deep limits in your heart and soul. One of these traumas is low self-esteem, creating an insecure child, a rebellious teenager and an unhappy adult, especially if this is not looking for a quick and appropriate professional help.
In summary, the family is the most important for the growth of children where there they begin to follow the example patterns projected by the family either in a harmonious environment or in an environment of problems and abuse.

ResponderEliminarI love my career because I get to spend time with kids every day and I love children and most of all to teach them.
ResponderEliminarI have learned a lot of how children behave, I have been told that it is impossible to work with little kids but that`s not true at all, you just have to be patient.
I feel really comfortable working with kids especially with little girls because they are beautiful and they are always showing their little clothes.
What I don’t like is the misunderstandings with some parents especially with those who want to tell me how to do my job. Sometimes some kids are very lazy but I don`t get mad at them I just find a way for them to discover what they want to do.
Once in a while I get terrify because there are a lot of kids in the classroom and sometimes they are all crying at the same time but I take a deep breath and then I calmed them. This is really a hard work because parents trust us as teachers not only to teach them but also take care of them and school is like a second home to them.

ResponderEliminarHave and grow within a stable family is a privilege because it is the foundation of every human being. But today we can see how there are dysfunctional families in our society due to the lack of communication, love, understanding, respect and values, all conyeva the disunion of the couples is there where the suffering of the children coming and if they are preschool trauma becomes stronger due to the separation of their parents, the treatment often rabies adults hurt children, it is there where they result in the psychological part of infants where often get rebels is insecure, low self-esteem, also their emotional state decays to pass the time this could affect in adolescence or even in adulthood. However, a child living in an inadequate and unstable family environment; can become a generator potential dysfunctional family but is attended on time. It is unfortunate but it is a situation that we are living day to day.
Family is very important to the growth of a child because it grows in an atmosphere of harmony, respect, love, with many principles and values.
The child has the right to a family. The law relating to the family allows the child a story and especially offers a perimeter of their rights. Children away from her family, receives discrimination or other abuse. However, the family must protect children from abuse, ensuring the education, development, health, safety and more. Parents Have the Essential Role of education, the family is established as the first social unit is the first social center where children begin their process of socialization and learning about the world are produced and on the individual. The importance of the family, therefore, in the development of the individual is fundamental Children need to feel esteemed by those closest to you, do not hesitate to give tokens of love and affection. Family is important to the development of children. Adopting a child can connect with a loving family. The family is not limited to blood ratio. Many people lack the skills needed to live in happiness and love things. Adoption is an option to help with this problem. If a woman can not be pregnant, she and her husband can adopt a child who needs a home with loving parents and a chance to live a better life. A new baby in the family brings happiness to all.

ResponderEliminarFor me some body know how important is a family for a children I disagree with dysfunctional families because about that a lot of children have problems the parents need to know that they are so important for the children and the decisions they take are influencing them. I think the parents must try staying together during growth of children and if they can during their all lives. If the parents get divorce maybe the children launch to smoke fall in drugs and all of bad thing, for this reasons and more the child need to know and feel the parents love them that is so important because if the parents do this the children will be responsible people in the future.
For me the children have a good imagination and they have a life plain maybe they change his opinion later but they know what they can do, some adults don´t respect the children because they think they are just little people without dreams feelings, need and another thing of course they have dreams and feels like you, like me, like all people, they think different but they have dreams
When the parents break up the children are the most affected by this break. Sometimes this has psychological consequences in children. He will feel great emotional physical and psychological emptiness that could affect his adolescence or even his adultness. If the parent can’t live together they can get a divorce but spent enough time whit their children
Main idea:
The main idea of this text is that parents try to live together to avoid problems for children
Secondary ideas:
We should try to listen to children because it is important for them
Show love to children

ResponderEliminarThe special thing about having a family as a child, means that personal growth will be very young and create a culture of union, and an example of that clear states would see parents get a child to adult.
Often problems arise between adults and do not look around you who are your children and although they are small also listen and stay with it to grow.
In the world of daily different cases are divorcing families and in some cases there are punches to each other and not wanting children are watching.
If the child grows up with an image like this, your life will not do the best as they have a good education, it is noteworthy that this comes from all walks of life, whether rich or poor they are family cases to be taken into account, because the only losers here are the children of the morning, that too many children are on the streets begging, drugs, or stealing in order to live on, and his parents do not pay attention.
They should have a clear respect for all children and more when the age they understand many things are, pay the most attention, help them in their tasks, not Shout them, not beat them so bad, I personally think that this child would grow with a better ability to make a person get well and principles.
One main idea that you can give to this text, which leads one way or another a reflection for parents is that when you do not discuss personal problems in front of children, it is best to talk in private or away from home, for so no harm
In the secondary, it is good to give love to those children who both need and qiue often do not have at home, children are tomorrow, for a better home life and happiness of a whole family.

DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS THE FAMILY FOR A CHILD?
I believe the point of view that gives UNICEF regarding the family is the reality in today's society many children most of its share of dysfunctional families is filed thing that somehow often affects your ability to function in a society healthy and full of many criteria values and in many ways this is rarely enforced.
In another aspect this definid the family as the foundation of a society. Many parents tend to see it as normal or modernism but I think it should not be so because as they say children are a reflection of their house or better still a child growing or may grow into a dysfunctional family or day of morning when the form achieve yours you can see the example given and become a mother or father of a diffusional family.

This relationship can be an attitude (eg to express an obligation or permission) or a probability judgment about the existence or otherwise of a particular situation.
English modal verbs belong to the category of auxiliary verbs. It is said to have certain characteristics that distinguish them from "full" verbs. Some of these features are:
Modal verbs do not combine with other auxiliaries (do, do not, does, does not, did, did not, will, will not, have, has, have not, have not).
Modals have only one form for all persons singular and plural:
• I must study more.
There verb clauses that can replace and modal verbs are "regular" verbs, which come in all shapes and can be used with the auxiliaries.
• I will Have to do a placement test. (Must)
• I was not reliable to get in Touch with him. (Can)
Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs thus always accompanied by a verb "filled" in the form of "short" infinitive (without to).
• I can swim. And NO: I can to swim
Modal verbs are:
Can, could, may, might, will, Shall, Should, ought to, must, would.
Can "means skill or ability. In these cases it may be translated as" power”
We can work late tonight if you need us.
In interrogative sentences, the use of "can" can apply for permission or to inquire about possibilities.
Can I have a glass of water?
"Could" is the past of "can"; indicates possibility or ability in the past.
I Could not sleep last night.
"Might" is used to indicate possibilities in the present or the future. In these cases, it is synonymous with "may".
I would bring an umbrella, it might rain later.

In the video teaches us the meanings of the so-called cognates in which, in linguistics, is called cognates. These terms cognates are words that have similar meaning, spelling, and pronunciation in two languages.
ResponderEliminarIts literal translation would be inbred, with a common ancestor, or linked by the same nature, similar. The origins and their feature or function:
• Cognates may be remnants of kinship that maintain different languages, or the influence of other languages.
• In this case, as in many others, is the second language of a imperfect learning and the use of terms in the native language, which causes the appearance of cognates. Something similar happens in Spanish.
FALSE COGNATES
They are words that seem to have any type of relationship, either in appearance or pronunciation, with another which is in a different language, but they are totally different in origin and meaning. All languages are victims of false friends.
COMPOUND NAME
Are names for two or more words; name that form the plural pluralizando the essential part of the word (like for example: vice-chairmen or attorneys general) The complex compound nouns ( "names") are the ones formed by more than one word.
For example: lounge-dining room, bathroom and breakfast. Dining room, bathroom and breakfast. English is quite common use of the words composed of two different words that have been composed from the new meaning of the word.
COMPOUND ADJECTIVE
A single adjective composed of two or more words is called a compound adjective. The words of a compound adjective can be linked together by a script (or scripts) to show that they are part of the same adjective.
That is why all these components we use in our daily life without many times realize.

FOR EXAMPLE: Letter Openers, can opener, can opener, Brandy, eyeglasses, Rainbow, among others.

In the text that refers to the importance of families for children, it is important to note that this is the basis or the fundamental engine to ensure that their children grow up in a good atmosphere, where the principles and values are of the highest quality, so that tomorrow will be fruitful for them. The main idea is the topic of the dysfunctional families that already to spend the time have been increasing and children are most affected by this change; and the idea are the secondary effects or consequences and the psychological damage that carry these changes, causing low self-esteem, insecurity, rebellion among other things, but are looking for immediate help to improve this situation. It is important to note that children must grow up in an environment of total harmony so as not to create conflicts or traumas in them that would be known when they grew up and they are adults.

ResponderEliminarit's alarming the figure that show the UNICEF, where a 60% the children in Latin America come of dysfunctional families. this bring as a consequence unsafe and irresponsible people in the future. to that it not happen it is important that children grow up in an atmosphere of love and respect and where ever this present both parents.
According to Charles L. Whitfield, M.D. in his book, Healing the Child Within (1997), People coming from dysfunctional families learn to suppress this fun-loving, actual character in response to many inhibiting factors that may impede the survival of the individual, such as, child neglect and abuse. the abuses generate and psychological trauma problems in children, One of those traumas is the low self-esteem, creating insecurity and unhappiness, consequently resulting in that when they are adults they have the same behavior with their future children.

ResponderEliminarGood afternoon my name is Professor ANDANYELA VILLAMARYN on the issue of how important family is to a child: good for kids, a home should be a source of support, security, love and good example. So there is no doubt that parents lay the foundation for what their children will be in the future. Having a family is a right enshrined in the rules and goes beyond the parents and their children living under one roof; means sharing, giving and receiving affection, listen, value, respect, dialogue, engage and accept the similarities and differences of each of the members. Children like to be greeted with affection within a home is the first starting point to encourage the development of children. "Love is the key and they must accompany children in their first smiles, steps, falls and encourage them to keep trying. Parents should be very supportive of their children.
